TERN COTTAGE is a cozy studio-style cottage perfectly sized for a couple. Elegantly appointed with handmade furnishings, down-topped queen sized bed, wood-burning fireplace, full bath, coffee maker, telephone, 40 inch plasma TV/VCR/DVD and air conditioning. Tern Cottage also boasts a patio with comfortable seating and an unencumbered view of the river, just feet away.
GULL COTTAGE is perfect for a romantic getaway and includes queen sized down-topped bed, wood-burning fireplace with comfortable seating, bath with shower, coffee maker, 40 inch plasma TV/VCR/DVD, telephone and air conditioning. Situated directly on the Kennebunk River, Gull Cottage also features a landscaped waterfront patio with stylish furnishings.
LOON COTTAGE is a luxurious vacation hideaway. The largest of The White Barn Inn Wharf Cottages, Loon Cottage features two bedrooms, each with its own entrance, two baths with showers, two wood-burning fireplaces, coffee maker and cathedral ceilings. Restful and spacious, Loon Cottage is roomy and comfortable for up to 4 persons. At the far ends of the cottage, each private water-view bedroom is furnished with a down-topped queen sized bed.
FRIENDSHIP COTTAGE has recently been renovated into the 4th freestanding cottage with panoramic views of the Kennebunk river and marina. It has a very specious bedroom room, featuring a king-sized bed, 40 inch plasma television with a comfortable seating area and a wood burning fireplace; and the bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower. Approx square footage: 1000 ft.
Each morning cottage guests may enjoy a Breakfast Basket delivered right to the door, including our hot fresh brewed coffee and teas, home-baked pastries and croissants. Full breakfasts are available at the Inn and guests are also invited for afternoon tea or dinner in our AAA Five Diamond White Barn Inn Restaurant.
Cottage guests can also enjoy all the amenities the Inn has to offer, including heated outdoor brimming pool, bicycles, canoes and ocean cruises aboard the True Blue during the summer season. Concierge services are available from the front desk.

- Cottages are serviced between 11:00am and 2:00pm daily
- Turndown service is provided each evening
- The cottages lead directly onto the wharf and river – please keep this in mind if you are traveling with children.
