Lodging
The White Barn Inn & Spa offers charming, luxurious accommodations year-round. Our 25-room inn enjoys a AAA Four Diamond lodging rating and we are a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux, Relais Gourmand.
History
Opening in our current form in 1973, The White Barn Inn & Spa was constructed from the original boarding house built in Kennebunkport, Maine in 1820.
Pool
The beautifully designed, natural stone and heated swimming pool at The White Barn Inn & Spa features a reverse-edged waterfall to soothe guests and compliment the Inn's tranquil environment. Al fresco lunch or snacks by the pool are available between 12.00 and 2.00 in the Summer months.
Internet
Complimentary high speed wireless internet access is available throughout and a laptop is available on request.

Guest Rooms and Suites
Inn Rooms - 12 - located in the main house, feature whimsical, hand-painted furniture. The rooms have been meticulously restored with coordinated fabrics, wall coverings and New England period furnishings. All inn rooms feature private baths with queen, or double bed accommodations.
Garden Rooms - 4 - feature queen-size sleigh beds, fireplaces, and armoires equipped with television and DVD. Each garden room's bathroom offers a whirlpool bath with a separate changing area. Garden rooms are decorated with coordinated fabrics and wall coverings.
Junior Suites - 7 - feature four-poster king beds, sitting areas with working fireplace, over-sized marble bathrooms with whirlpool baths and separate showers. Each junior suite is decorated with coordinated fabrics and wall coverings.
May’s Cottage - 1 - The cottage features a king-size bed, double-sided fireplace, spacious living room, and bathroom with a whirlpool bath built for two and separate steam shower. Decorated with coordinated fabrics and wall coverings.
The Loft - 1 - adjacent to the main house with its own private entrance, the Loft is a spacious and luxuriously appointed suite featuring a king size bed, cathedral ceiling, fireplace and over sized marble bath with separate steam shower and whirlpool. A private deck overlooks the Inn's grounds.
Every White Barn Inn & Spa suite or guest room is appointed with fresh flowers and fruit, plush terry cloth robes, Flatscreen Plasma Televisions and DVD players, voice mail and exclusive Molton Brown toiletries.
Meeting and Event Facilities
The White Barn Inn offers an elegantly-appointed meeting room that accommodates up to 12 people. Audio-visual assistance can be arranged upon request.

The White Barn Inn Restaurant is the premier AAA Five Diamond, Mobil Five Star dining establishment of New England, the only establishment north of New York City to enjoy both accolades. We are also a member of the prestigious Relais Gourmand association of fine restaurants. Proprietor Laurence Bongiorno and Executive Chef Jonathan Cartwright combine contemporary American cuisine with exemplary service to create an elegant yet relaxing dining experience.
Our 120-seat restaurant features a four-course prix fixe menu, not including beverage, tax or gratuity.
Menu
A four-course dinner focusing on American cuisine. The menu changes weekly, offering a choice from six appetizers and eight to ten entrées with one or two daily chef's specialties. The menu reflects the best of the season's offerings with a concentration on New England flavors and fresh seafood from local Maine waters. Seafood and vegetarian tasting menus are also available.
Wine List
The restaurant's extensive wine list includes a wide range of bottles from moderate to expensive, national and international and beginning at $20.

Service at The White Barn Inn Restaurant exemplifies the finest in European training. One waiter is devoted to each guest throughout the evening to offer professional and unobtrusive service.
Bar
Full-service bar offering a full range of cocktails, spirits, wines and liqueurs and featuring a pianist nightly.
Opening Hours
The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday 6.00 pm to 9:30 pm Friday through Sunday evenings, dinner is served from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The restaurant closes for two weeks at the end of January each year.
Attire
Jackets required and ties are optional for gentlemen.
Reservations
As you may expect, dining at The White Barn Inn Restaurant is in high demand and reservations are required.
The Setting
Built in a restored barn dating from 1820, the restaurant seats 120 guests. The dining room is filled with nineteenth-century antiques, collectibles and oil paintings. The barn's loft displays turn-of-the century wildlife woodcarvings. A floor-to-ceiling picture window showcases flowers, greenery or a snow-covered landscape, depending on the season. All tables are candlelit and set with white linens, Villeroy & Boch porcelain and Schottsweizel crystal.
Wine Room
Finished in mahogany, red cedar, marble and granite, The Wine Room at The White Barn Inn offers private accommodations up to 14 people for an intimate dinner, wine tasting, meeting or special event. The Wine Room houses over 7,000 bottles of wine.
