The greatest care and attention to detail has gone into creating our charming waterfront cottages, each with their own private entrances, spectacular river views and waterfront patios and located just 2-tenths of a mile from the White Barn Inn & Spa.
The Marina boasts a lovely waterfront clubhouse, known as Friendship Cottage, for the exclusive use of Cottage guests and Marina patrons. Friendship Cottage now boasts a complimentary beverage bar for the exclusive use of cottage guests.
 Each morning Cottage guests may enjoy a Breakfast Basket delivered right to the door, including our hot fresh brewed coffee and teas, home-baked pastries and croissants. Full breakfasts are available at the Inn and guests are also invited for afternoon tea or dinner in our AAA Five Diamond White Barn Inn Restaurant. The Restaurant is recognized as Maine's premier fine dining establishment and by Travel and Leisure as one of the top Five Resort Restaurants in North America.
Cottage guests can also enjoy all the amenities the Inn has to offer, including heated outdoor brimming pool, bicycles, canoes and ocean cruises aboard the True Blue during the summer season. Concierge services offered at the front desk.
Available nightly or by the week, the cottages are equipped with coffee makers, wood burning fireplaces, VCR and MP3 equipped DVD players (guests are encouraged to bring their own CDs/DVDs), full-sized closets and air conditioning for the summer. The Cottage Compound is fully enclosed with a remotely accessed gate.
 GULL COTTAGE
This cozy studio-style cottage with an Arts and Crafts feel is perfectly sized for a couple. Elegantly appointed with handmade furnishings, down topped queen sized bed, a wood-burning fireplace, full bath, coffee espresso maker, telephone, 40 inch plasma TV/VCR/DVD, and Air conditioning. Tern Cottage also boasts a patio with comfortable seating and an unencumbered view of the river, just feet away.
TERN COTTAGE
This is perfect for a romantic getaway and includes queen sized down topped bed, a wood-burning fireplace with comfortable seating, bath with shower, coffee espresso maker, 40 inch plasma TV/VCR/DVD, telephone and air conditioning. Situated directly on the Kennebunk River, Tern Cottage also features a landscaped waterfront patio with stylish furnishings.
 LOON COTTAGE
With panoramic views of river and marina, Loon Cottage is a luxurious vacation hideaway. The largest of The White Barn Inn Wharf Cottages, Loon Cottage features two bedrooms, each with it’s own entrance, two baths with showers, two wood-burning fireplaces, coffee espresso maker and cathedral ceilings. Restful and spacious, Loon Cottage is roomy and comfortable for up to 4 persons. At the far ends of the cottage, each private water view bedroom is furnished with a down topped queen sized bed.
Key Waterfront Cottages information:
- check-in time is between 3:00pm to 7:00pm
- check out is by 11:00am
- cottages are serviced between 11:00am and 2:00pm daily
- turndown service is provided each evening
- the cottages lead directly onto the wharf and river; please take this into consideration if you are bringing children under 12 years of age and feel free to call us to discuss
- pets are not allowed

Our Wharf Marina Cottage complex is a private, exclusive gated compound on the water. Together the cottages can house up to 8 people comfortably and when reserved as a whole, you will also enjoy exclusive use of Friendship Cottage as your meeting space or as a common area to gather.
During your stay, a team member will be assigned as your exclusive valet, there to anticipate or respond to your every need.
